Margaret P. Dennis

MARGARET P. DENNIS, age 97, of Bel Air, died at Calvert Manor Health Care Center, Rising Sun, Maryland on March 2, 2004. Born in Towson, November 16, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Edmund George and Martha Virginia Lyons Prince and the wife of the late Wayne E. Dennis. She worked at Getz Jewelry Store for a number of years. Margaret volunteered for over 30 years at the gift shop at Fallston General Hospital and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She volunteered over 30, 000 hours, which is more than any other volunteer as of her retirement in October of 2002. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting the Bahamas. Margaret was an avid Orioles fan and loved fishing and baking.

Mrs. Dennis is survived by one daughter, Anne Wood and her husband, Herbert, of North East, Maryland, five grandchildren, Aileen Yeatman of Conowingo, Maryland, Joan Milton and her husband David of Perryville, Susan Russell of Port Deposit, Karen Sherman and her husband Tim of North East, Edmund Wood of North East; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
