Margaret Noyes Hopkins, age 86, of Darlington, MD died on August 22, 2016 at Avondell Assisted Living in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore to Victor P. and Adelaide V. (Newcomer) Noyes, she was the wife of the late Harry Gover Hopkins. She was a graduate of the Women's Hospital Nursing School where she received her RN degree and was a member of Emory United Methodist Church in Street. She loved spending time with her family and friends over a good lunch and her family was her focus in life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, not only to family, but to everyone around her.
Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her children, Timothy N. Hopkins (Susan) of Darlington, Peggy Bachman (Tom) of Darlington and Harry G. Hopkins III (Tish) of Rock Hall; sister, Helen Washburn (Lou) of Bel Air; grandchildren, Derek Hopkins of Pylesville, Matthew Bachman of Darlington, Megan Hopkins of St. Augustine, FL, Lauren Raio of Havre de Grace, James Hopkins of Westbrook, ME and Maggie Hopkins of Darlington; and great grandchildren, Timothy and Emma Hopkins, Ava and A.J. Bachman and Landon Morse.
