On Sunday, February 1, 2015, Margaret Marie Hammons of Darlington, Maryland passed away. Daughter of the late Vernon Eagle and the late Annie Wilfong Eagle; wife of the late Jesse James Hammons; mother of Dollie Farmer; Leona Blackburn; Gladys Breymaier; Carolyn Maines; Willard Hammons; Richard Hammons; pre-deceased sons- Dewey Lee Hammons; Charles Hammons; George Hammons; Marvin Hammons. She is also survived by 20 grand-children; 27 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-granchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 12 noon; at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will by Thursday at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment in Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001.
