Margaret Lynn Lay Durst

Margaret Lay Durst, age 78, of ,  passed away on August 17, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was the daughter of M.R. and Ethel (Magee) Lay and wife Horatio Dupont Durst. She received her bachelor’s degree from LSU in English Literature. She loved reading books and doing crosswords puzzles in her free time.   

Margaret is survived by her husband of 58 years, Horatio Dupont Durst; daughter, Rachel Price; two grandchildren, Ryan Dean Price and Ryleigh Danielle Price .

She was preceded in death by father, M. R. Lay, mother, Ethel Emma Mae Lay and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
