Margaret Leona Snyder

Margaret Leona Snyder, age 88, of Street, MD, died on April 6, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Ambrose and Clara Regina Alkire Diggs and wife, for almost 50 years, of the late Albert Earl Snyder. She worked in manufacturing as an assembly line worker and as an amateur radio operator, she belonged to "The Graveyard Net" where her call letters were W3IXA. She also loved flowers and gardening.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by her sons, Albert Charles Snyder of Opa Locka, FL, Michael Vincent Snyder of Glen Rock, PA, and David Joseph Snyder Sr. of Rising Sun, MD; daughter, Maria Ann Snyder of Street, MD; sisters, Carol Rossilli of Joppa, MD, Lillian Fuller of Springfield, OR, and Joan Kyler of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Joshua Snyder of Opa Locka, FL, Laura Calp of Savannah, GA, Dana Snyder of Glen Rock, PA, Jason Snyder of Aberdeen, MD, and Malinda Smith and David Snyder II of Rising Sun, MD; and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Brandon Geppi of Savannah, GA, Autumn Smith, Jade Smith, and David Snyder III, all of Rising Sun, MD, and Brianna and Hunter Chavis of Glen Rock, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, J. James "Jimmy" Diggs, Paul Diggs, and Vincent Diggs.
