Margaret Grula

Margaret Grula, age 82, of Churchville, MD passed away on February 22, 2017 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Whiteford, MD, she was the daughter of James and Francis Mary (Jester) Patterson. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was the co-owner of a restaurant that she ran for over 30 years. She also enjoyed traveling all over, and sewing. She loved family and all aspects of being part of one. She was the kindest person and had the gentlest soul of anyone that ever walked this earth.

Mrs. Grula is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert J. Grula; her daughters, Cynthia J. Peters and husband, Steven, and Christine Grula; her sister, Joanne Patterson and her children; Lisa (Michael) and David. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Grula; and her sisters, Lilly Williams, Marie Torres and Rosetta Workman.
