Margaret Elizabeth Scott

Margaret Elizabeth Scott, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, died on January 11, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of the late Irvin P. and Edna Carter Kelly and wife, for 65 years, of the late Thomas Turner Scott Sr. A graduate of Union High School in South Carolina, she was a cosmetologist and owned and operated her own business. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the VFW and American Legion, and enjoyed gardening and knitting.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her sons, Thomas T. Scott Jr. and wife, Phyllis F., of Riverside, MD, Uwe G. Neumann and wife, Marlana M., of Joppa, MD; daughters, M. Dianne Cottrell and husband, Oscar W., and Barbara L. Smith and husband, Albert E., all of Joppa, MD; sisters, Louise Kelly and Adlyne Laws, both of Carlisle, SC, and Lois Jones of Blacksburg, SC; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas and James Kelly; and her sister, Rebecca Bogan.

Pallbearers will be Mike McLaren, Brian Scott, Robert Scott, Jacob Scott, Jason Smith, Scott Cottrell, and Randy Cottrell.
