(MARGARET) “PEG” COHEE, age 86, of Edgewood, died at her residence on January 21, 2004. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Gresham and Laura Elizabeth White Corrie, and the wife for 50 years of the late Stephen William Cohee. A resident of Harford County for over 60 years, she enjoyed living on Bush River which she did for over 60 years, renting boats with her husband, fishing, crabbing, and ice skating at 70+ when she broke her arm. She painted, played piano, did woodcarving, raised cocker spaniels and was a real green thumb gardener. She attended Towson State Teachers College. She loved her family and the incredible array of pets that were always a big part of their lives.
Mrs. Cohee is survived by three daughter who all reside in Harford County, Sally A. Zebley of Edgewood; Nancy E. Spencer of Abingdon; Lucy C. Armstrong of Edgewood; four granddaughters, Diane L. Rice of Havre de Grace; Beverly A. Cooney of Edgewood; Christine A. Foster of Abingdon; Laurie G. Kress of Joppa; two great-granddaughters, Emily R. Rice of Havre de Grace; Lauren E. Foster of Abingdon. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Vernon Corrie.
Pallbearers will be: Norman W. Zebley, Norman R. Spencer, Donald S. Armstrong, John Bowman, Philip Rice, and Paul Kress. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Cooney and Tim Harding.
