Margaret A. Cameron, 98, of White Hall, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023, at Maryland Masonic Homes in Cockeysville, Maryland. Born in White Hall to H. Ross and L. Adele Almony, Margaret was a lifelong resident of the community. She was the beloved wife of the late Stuart J. Cameron.
Margaret was an active member of her community and cherished her connections with various organizations. She was a proud member of the Parkton American Legion Auxiliary #256, the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and the Flying Geese Quilting Guild. Margaret found joy in the art of quilting and delved into the fascinating world of genealogy.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia (Robert) Viele and Jacqueline Decre; grandchildren, Valerie Custer, Monica Stoldt, and Benjamin Decre; as well as her cherished great-granddaughter, Katherine Custer.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Stuart J. Cameron, her parents, Ross and Adele Almony, and siblings Ruth Dixon, Ethel Bond, and James Almony.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those who wish to express their condolences consider donating to a charity of their choice in Margaret's name.
