Margaret Bailey Anderson

December 15, 1931 — January 22, 2016

Margaret Bailey Anderson, 84 years, of Aberdeen, MD passed away January 22, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Baltimore, MD. Born in Wilna, MD, December 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Bailey and Willard Bailey and wife of the late Aaron Alfred Anderson. She and her husband were the former owners of Bush River Boat Works and had worked with her husband at S.H. Anderson Hardware of Joppa. She was a volunteer of the Ladies Auxiliary of Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and the Ladies Auxiliary of Bush River Yacht Club. She was a member of the Soroptomist of Bel Air and St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, Peggy Boyce and her husband, Gene, of Easton; Buddy Anderson of Conowingo; Rita Curry and her husband, Jack, of Bishopville; Cindy King and her husband, Bruce, of Kingsville; Denise Stoltz and her husband, Walt, of Lancaster, PA; Doug Anderson and his wife, Terry, of Perryman; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Anderson of Joppa, Vivian Watts of Abingdon, Kathe LaGreca of Garfield, NJ and Karen Caudill of Bel Air; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson; and her brothers, Buck (Thomas Andrew) Bailey, Willie (Willard) Bailey, Jimmy (James) Bailey and Bobby (Robert) Bailey.
