Margaret Ann Swift

MARGARET ANN FELTON SWIFT, died October 1, 2006 at her home in Churchville, MD. She was born on May 10, 1928, to Robert L. and Kathleen Felton of Carthage, North Carolina. Maggie was an adventurer. Her ports of call included Jamaica, France, California, Aspen, Colorado and Middleburg, Virginia. She was a gourmet cook, an avid reader, did crossword puzzles daily and loved animals. Her natural style and flair for fashion carried her into a successful career in high end retail which allowed her international travel. Maggie made friends all over the world.

Her daughters were, Melanie Rock McCoy and her husband the late Doug McCoy of Raleigh, North Carolina and Robin Lucas and husband Tim of Aurora, Colorado. She had two grandchildren, Katie and Jack Lucas both of Denver, Colorado. Also remaining is her loving brother, Robert Felton III (Priscilla) of Washington, D.C.; nieces, Anne Felton of Denver, CO, Catherine Felton Moy of Rockville, MD and devoted friends, William and Patricia Gilbert of Churchville, MD.
