Margaret A. Zurawski

October 29, 1936 — November 29, 2013

Margaret (Margie) A. Zurawski, 77 years young of Bel Air, MD passed away on November 29, 2013 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Shouns, TN she was the daughter of the late Scott McKinley and Verna Rachel Snyder Furches and wife of the late Ronald Andrew Zurawski.

A fighter till the end, Margie always had a defined zest and style about her and that shined through in the way she lived her life. She was never afraid to be "Herself". Margie loved meeting new people and she made friends easily. She always had time to listen in her special caring way and she never judged others. She stayed young at heart by embracing new technologies, keeping up with current events and always staying fashion forward. She very much enjoyed modern design and would try to bring those aspects of herself into her home, where her flair was always on display. Margie came from a large biological family and through her years added to that with her chosen family. Her loved ones were a driving factor in her life and gave her much happiness.

Mrs. Zurawski is survived by her Beloved son, Scott Anthony Zurawski (who was the center of her Heart and World), sister (Bina Younce of Aberdeen); grandchildren (Becca and Connor Zurawski of Bel Air).

In addition to her husband and parents, her brothers, Clyde, Harold, Lester and Glenn Furches and sisters, Nancy Swartz and Ada Wotovitch, predeceased her.

A celebration of her life will be held in the spring, details will be sent out at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 9505 Reisterstown Road, Suite 1 North, Owings Mills, MD 21117 or the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236-0025.
