Margaret A. Heimbach, age 99, of Selbyville, Delaware passed away on December 4, 2021 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Daniel and Anna (Hufnagal) Collins and wife of the late Conrad Melvin Heimbach. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church. Margaret completed eighth grade at Sacred Heart and was then dedicated to raising her four younger brothers. During the war, she worked at Glen L Martin making airplane parts. She then worked for C & P Telephone Company as an operator. Margaret and her husband loved to travel. They made trips to Europe and ventured cross country to California, Alaska and Canada.
Margaret is survived by her son, Kenneth (Virginia) G. Heimbach; daughter, Kathleen (Mark) Schlehr; sister, Ann Murk; grandchildren, Meghan Butterworth, Elizabeth Diem, Heather Truzzolino, Jonathan Schlehr, Benjamin Schlehr; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by 5 brothers.
