Marcia Elizabeth Kemp

MARCIA ELIZABETH KEMP, age 73, of Joppa, MD, died on February 5, 2008, at her home. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Arthur William and Elizabeth Wilhelmina Warfel Kemp. She worked as an auditor for Holiday Inn and upon retiring, went to work for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland as an auditor. After her retirement from Blue Cross, she worked for the Gap warehouse and when they closed, she went on to Sears, where she worked in the shoe department. A very creative person, she loved knitting and was a multigallon blood donor, as well as, a volunteer driver for the American Red Cross. She was a very loving person working hard all her life.

Ms. Kemp is survived by a brother, Robert John Kemp and wife, Dolores, of Vernon, CT; nieces and nephews, Gretchen Eckert of Natick, MA, Hilary Kemp of Colorado Springs, CO, Matthew Kemp of Manchester, NH, and Ellen Kemp of Sharon, MA; dear friend, Charlotte Marie Carder of Joppa, MD, and her children, Kay Spurley of Spruce Pine, NC, Lawrence Carder of Eldersburg, MD, Marilyn Templeton of Bel Air, MD, Cynthia Carder Frank of Joppa, MD, and Lorna Shetterly of Churchville, MD.
