Maggie H. Tribble

Maggie H. Tribble was born on December 29, 1945, in Summerton, South Carolina. On May 8, 2022, she entered eternal rest. Maggie lived in White Marsh, MD, and she was the daughter of Alphonso and Julia (Simmons) Hilton. She was 76 years old. 

Maggie accepted Christ at an early age and lived the life of a Proverbs 31 woman. She worked as a registered nurse at Franklin Square Hospital, and during that time, she was awarded Nurse of the Year. Maggie was very generous, well-loved, and admired. Maggie was a lifelong learner, enjoyed gardening, and gave generously to others. In addition, she loved to travel to South Carolina to visit family. 

Maggie loved her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, neighbors, and church family at Faith Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. Some of her favorite hymns were, I Need Thee Every Hour, Blessed Assurance, It Is Well With My Soul, and God Will Take Care of You.  

Maggie met and married the love of her life, John Frank Tribble, and was a devoted wife of 53 years. She was the mother of Opal Tribble and John Reginald Tribble and is survived by grandchildren, Jade Aiyana Vinson and John Mark Tribble; brothers, Pinkney (Mattie) Hilton, Alphonso (Sarah) Hilton, Johnnie Hilton, Clyde (Patricia) Hilton, and Joe (Sara) Hilton; and sisters, Pauline (Evander) Nelson, Lillie M. Hilton, Ruth A. Wilson, Pernease Austin, Robertha Touchstone, Betty Hilton, Claudia Hilton, and Almeta Hilton. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Louisa (Eugene) Plowden, Alvertis (Bettie) Hilton, Claude Hilton, and Martha Hilton.
