Mae Buettner

Edna Mae Buettner was born to the late Elvira (Kauffman) and Elder Vincent Kreis on November 19, 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland. She passed away on January 27, 2016 from a stroke/heart attack. She was 96 years old.

Edna retired from her business, University Opticians of Delaware, of over 30 years.

She is survived by her siblings Neil Kreis, Jane Wollen, and Jean Stewart. She was preceded in death by one sister, Vera Welsh, one son, Frederick H. Buettner Jr. and one grandson Scott Baer. She is also survived by her daughter Edna Mae McGregor, and her sons, John Neil and wife, Diana, Gary Michael and wife Lydia, Thomas Anthony and wife Marilyn, Stephen Richard, Glenn Eric and wife Dana, William Bruce and wife Cheryl. Other survivors include 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
