Madeline ''Madge'' Kelly Schmidt

Madeline "Madge" Kelly Schmidt, age 96, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on April 25, 2013 at Rock Spring Village in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Emil J. and Frances Mary Valenta Komenda and wife of the late John Kelly and George Schmidt. She had worked as a waitress at Kahler's Restaurant on Route 40 in Rosedale where she met her second husband, George.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her son, John Thomas Kelly Jr. and wife, Peggy A., of Cedar Bluff, VA; daughter, Nancy L. Wienecke and husband, William P., of Bel Air, MD; grandchildren, Robin Bayne of Lutherville, MD, Fern Goodman of Jarrettsville, MD, Scott Bullock of Portland, OR, Denise Kelly of McComb, MS and Jeremy Kelly of Columbia, SC; eleven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
