Madeline "Cookie" Damiani, age 84, of Bel Air, MD passed away on May 26, 2017 at Avondell Assisted Living in Bel Air. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Dominick and Madeline (Valinoto) Zinni and was the wife of the late Frederick J. Damiani. She graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia, PA. She was employed at Western Electric where she met her husband. Cookie later worked at Harford Community College and Open Doors. She loved her family and friends and for the last 8 years she resided at Avondell where she loved the staff and making new friends. She enjoyed the many activities there and had a love for Trivia questions. She was a member of the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance and loved playing tennis and Bridge. She also enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Damiani is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Cleary and husband, Steven, of Bel Air; grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Cleary; nieces, Donna Norton and husband, Jeff, Dianne Bowen and Sheila Beksinski and husband, Ed; nephew, Steven McCole and wife, Dawn. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
