Mack Emory Caudill, age 86, of Churchville, MD, died on February 23, 2011 at his home. Born in Alleghany County, NC, he was the son of the late Joe Clark and Mae E. Edwards Caudill and husband of the late Violet A. Caudill. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country in WWII in the field of artillery in the European Theater. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and NRA. He owned a farm near Baywood, VA where he lived until 1963 when he moved his family to Churchville, MD. He owned and operated Mack's Barbershop in Churchville until 1992. During this time, he also performed barbering services for the sick and disabled around the area. A longtime member of Old Harford Primitive Baptist Church in Jarrettsville, MD, he served as a Deacon. Mack enjoyed bowling in senior leagues in Aberdeen and Edgewood.
Mr. Caudill is survived by his daughters, Emoryetta M. Garcia and husband, Luis, of Callahan, FL; and Anita M. Reedy of Edgewood, MD; son, Bobby J. Caudill and his wife, Jean, of Elkton, MD; sister, Tressie Edwards of Sparta, NC; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Leff and Fred Caudill.
