Mabel A. Newton

Mabel A. Newton, age 83, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on November 13, 2012 surrounded by loving family. Born in Sandy Mount, MD, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Roscoe and Olga Leslie Mae Beegle and wife of the late Kenneth Taylor Newton Sr. A homemaker, she was the matriarch of the family of which she loved and supported.

Mrs. Newton is survived by her sons, Ken Newton and wife, Patty, of Jacksonville, FL, Bob Newton and wife, Clo, of Perry Hall, MD and Tom Newton and wife, Loretta, of White Hall, MD; daughters, Pat Weide of Edgewood, MD, Barb Swieczkowski and husband, Stephan, of Preston, MD and Stephanie Spangler of Bel Air, MD; brothers, Charles Beegle of Baltimore, MD and John Beegle of Newport News, VA; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Bill and Carl Beegle, and sister, Mary McCotter.

Pallbearers will be Ken, Bob and Tom Newton, Steve Swieczkowski, Jeromy Newton and Brett Weide. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Beegle.
