M. Greg (Tank) Thomas

Martin Gregory (Tank) Thomas, age 68, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on February 1, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Maryland, he was the son of Harry Keith Thomas and Lois Ruth (Rembold) Thomas. For many years he worked for GNC. He was very involved in sports and was a football official and an umpire for baseball and softball. He was a member of the Maryland State Hall of Fame for Slow Pitch Softball, NEMOA (North East Maryland Officials Association), National Indicator Fraternity (NIF) for A.S.A/USA Softball, ASA/USA Elite Softball Umpire for Slow Pitch Softball, and was a 30 year member of the American Softball Association.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his brother, Richard Thomas.
