M. Evelyn O'Connor

M. Evelyn O'Connor, age 91, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on December 7, 2012 at her home. Born in Dixie, GA, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Abigo and Ethel Lorene Hawkins Crane and wife of the late James "Frank" O'Connor. She retired, after 20 years, from the Harford County Comptroller's Office where she was a clerk. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Edgewood Golden Age Club and the St. Francis de Sales Golden Age Club where she and her husband were both members. She was also very active in the Joppatowne Golden Age Club and both St. Stephen's and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Mrs. O'Connor is survived by her daughters, Karen A. Chubb of Edgewood and E. Maria Lucas of Beverly Hills, FL; sister, Anne Haven of Laurinburg, NC; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, James (Jim) F. O'Connor Jr.
