Lynn Acie Clinton, age 63, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Acie and Jessie (Thomas) Clinton.
A dedicated and joyful member of St. James U.M.E. Church in Jarrettsville, Lynn found immense fulfillment in her long-standing career with A Better Answer, Inc. in Bel Air, where she devoted over 25 years of her life. Her work was not just a job to her, but a place where she brought light, laughter, and a strong work ethic.
Lynn's love for travel took her on many adventures, and her infectious humor and radiant smile were constants in her life. She had a unique ability to light up any room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She enjoyed watching movies with her family, creating cherished memories filled with love and laughter.
In her quieter moments, Lynn expressed her creativity through crafting. She was incredibly talented with her hands, whether crocheting, making beautiful homemade door wreaths, or sewing. Her craftsmanship was admired by all who knew her.
Lynn was a people person through and through. Her friendly demeanor and social nature meant she never met a stranger. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and was cherished for her ability to connect with others on a deep level. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Lynn is survived by her loving sister, Francine (George, Sr.) Akins; her dear nephew, George Akins Jr.; her cherished nieces, Danita (Zachery) Williams, and Lorena Akins; her treasured great-nieces, Kaylah Evans, and Kyah Evans; her beloved great-nephew, Kyron Evans; her niece, Deborah Jackson, and family; and her cousins, Virginia Ann Quinous and family, and Elizabeth Clinton and family.
Lynn's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit, laughter, and love will live on in our memories forever.
