Lucy Hampton

Lucy G. Hampton, age 93, of Bel Air, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was born on September 17, 1922, in Baldwin, Maryland, the daughter of Hoy Patterson and Jennie Wagner Greene. She was married for 53 years to her beloved husband, the late Kent H. Hampton.

Lucy was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church, always using her talents to serve her church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, crocheting, knitting and crafting, but most of all she loved flowers and flower arranging. For nearly 40 years Miss Lucy helped customers with their floral needs at Richardson's Flowers & Gifts in Bel Air.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Levaun Meehan, Rosedna McMahan, Roscoe Greene and Jim Greene. She is survived by sisters, Wilma Bruffey of Allentown, PA, and Grace Jarvis of Polk City, FL.

Lucy was a very special aunt to three generations of nieces and nephews.
