Lucy Evelyn Tilley

Lucy Evelyn Tilley, age 96, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on September 24, 2012 at Hart Heritage in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Mt. Airy, NC, she was the daughter of the late Millard Fillmore and Daisy Jane Seal Tilley and wife, for 48 years, of the late George Tilley. A 1933 graduate of Bel Air High School, she had worked as an assembler for Glenn L. Martin Company and was a secretary at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Ordnance School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years.

Mrs. Tilley is survived by her sons, Dr. Larry G. Tilley of Fallston, MD and Steven D. Tilley and wife, Diane, of Columbia, MD; daughter, Judith E. Parvizian and husband, Ahmad, of Bel Air, MD; brother, William Reeves Tilley of Potomac, MD; sister, Violet I. Schreiner of NJ; grandchildren, David G. Tilley of Fallston, MD, Brian D. Tilley and wife, Sandi, of Elkridge, MD, Mark A. Tilley and wife, Tina, of Newburgh, ME, Margaret S. Musselwhite and husband, Paul, of Williamsburg, VA and Douglas G. Tilley of Arlington, VA; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Emory F. Tilley and daughter-in-law, Edith Proctor Tilley.

Pallbearers were David Tilley, Brian Tilley, Mark Tilley, Doug Tilley, Meg Musselwhite and Dennis Tilley.
