Lucille Robb Chapman

Lucille Robb Chapman, age 87, of Frederick, MD, died on May 8, 2009 at Somerford House in Frederick, MD. Born in Oilton, OK, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Silas and Maud Mae Bernard Robb and wife of the late Ruben Answorth Chapman. A resident of Harford County for over 35 years, she had worked as a bookkeeping manager and was a past member of Creswell Christian Church, and later became a member of Mountain Christian Church. She played the piano, and in her younger years, she performed in the Joplin Missouri Symphony. She enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers, and crafts, which included ceramics and basket weaving. She was a volunteer at Tabitha's House and Mountain Christian Church, and also enjoyed her friendships that she made in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Mrs. Chapman is survived by her son, David Chapman of Frederick, MD; and three grandchildren, Catherine, Patrick, and Allison Chapman.
