Louise Brown, age 71, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 26, 2010 at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Cameron Dudley and Edna Blanche Simmons. A resident of Baltimore County for most of her life, she had worked as a life insurance agent. She moved to Harford County in 2006, and was an active member of Central Christian Church, as well as, an active family matriarch who always kept the family ties close. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, politics, watching Fox news, reading the Washington Times and Baltimore Sun every day, but mostly she enjoyed and devoted her retirement life to her grandchildren.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 39 years, John Henry Brown Jr.; son, John D. Brown of Pikesville, MD; daughters, Nancy L. Galicki, Diane A. Couchman and husband, Steve, and Lisa Simmons Cochran and husband, Keith N., all of Bel Air, MD; sister, Marjorie Kearns of Perry Hall, MD; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Sydney, Sonny, and Cameron Simmons; and sister, Phyllis Care.
Pallbearers will be Brian Berk, Keith Cochran, Steve Couchman, Nick Bandy, Luke Ellis, and Mike Zembas.
