Louis J. Ziegel

LOUIS J. ZIEGEL, age 81, of Abingdon, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on May 24, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Adam Benjamin and Julia Genevia Wisniewski Ziegel. He was the owner and operator of a farm in Baldwin. He sold produce at the Farmers’ Market in Bel Air and had worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel in the shipyard in Dundalk as a builder. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Mr. Ziegel is survived by one brother, Adam B. Ziegel, Jr. of Towson; two sisters, Catherine K. Travers of Abingdon; Doris M. Moeser of Bel Air; sister-in-law, Concetta Ziegel; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother-in-law, Dennis Travers.
