Louis Allen Bandy Sr.

Louis Allen Bandy Sr., 77, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 18, 2015 at his home. Born in Valls Creek, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Elias Bandy and Gertrude Annie Tipton Bandy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had worked, for 42 years, at Price Brothers Company where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a hard worker and a great handyman. He was a supporter of Maryland's hometown teams the Orioles and Ravens; him and his wife enjoyed cheering them on! Mr. Bandy was also an avid fan of NASCAR; his favorite driver was and always will be "The Intimidator" aka Dale Earnhardt SR.

Mr. Bandy is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cleo B. (Perry) Bandy; sons, Louis Allen Bandy Jr. of Fawn Grove, PA and Jeffrey Scott Bandy Sr. of Elkton; daughters, Tamara Kaye Jones and Lorri Ann Quick both of Havre de Grace; sister, Phyllis I. Evans of Havre de Grace; grandchildren, Kimberly Kemp, Jeffrey Bandy Jr., Michael A. Bandy, Ashley L. Jones, Amanda L. Jones and Nicole W. Quick; great-grandchildren, Matt Kemp Jr., Katie Desell, Joe Kemp, Jayden Bandy and Jensen Bandy; and great-great- grandchildren, Ethan and Lilah Desell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Perry R., Barney E., Jack D., Buddy R. and Roy S. Bandy.

Pallbearers were Jeff Bandy Jr., Michael Bandy, Matt Kemp Jr., Renard Childs, Glen Brown and Nick Desell.
