Lou Horton

Lou Horton, age 74, of Fallston, MD passed away on October 13, 2018 at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Louis C. Horton Sr. and Elizabeth (Young) Horton. He was a graduate of Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School in 1962 and worked for Bendix Radio for 6 months as a draftsman before working with NCR (National Cash Register Corp.) in 1962 where he retired in September of 2000 after 38 years of service. 52 years of marriage. A veteran, he served in the Army National Guard of Maryland from 1964-1970. He was an assistant Scout Master and Scout Master for Troop 155 at Calvary Lutheran Church, involved in 4-H of Harford County for 10 years, served with Neighbors in Need, Homeless Shelter for Harford County and served on Church Counsel at both Calvary Lutheran Church of Baltimore and St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Bel Air.

Mr. Horton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nadine Adel (McCaffrey) Horton; daughter, Nadine Marie Horton; son in law, Jon J. Wilson; brother, David W. Horton (Cheryl); and grandchildren, Abigail Wilson and Tabitha Wilson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth A. Wilson.
