Loretta Gardner

Loretta Gardner, age 52, of Bel Air, MD, died on January 1, 2011 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, she is the loving daughter of Robert Earl Gardner and Gisela Meta Gist. She was a housewife for several years before working in sales. She loved being a mom and grandmom, and had lived in Florida for some time where she loved the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Christopher Brinegar of Belcamp, MD and Kyle Brinegar of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Julie Williams and husband, Tim, of CA; sisters, Marilyn McAllister and husband, Charles, of Bel Air, MD, Tanya Leftwich and husband, Walt, of PA, and Edie Gist-Chance and husband, Jerry, of WA brothers, Kirk Gist and wife, Cindy, and Doug Gist and Karen, all of WA; and five grandchildren, Christopher Brinegar Jr., Mercedes Brinegar, Faith Sponagle, Emily Sponagle, and Deanna Brinegar. She is also survived by her loving stepmother, Ruth Virginia Gardner of PA; stepfather, Leon Gist of WA; her dear friend, Stacy Martin and daughter, India, of MD; and many nieces and nephews.
