Lore Chenoweth

Lore Chenoweth, age 87, of Colora, MD, formerly of Bel Air, peacefully passed away on June 4, 2017 at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of Aloys and Johanna (Bingeman) Schwerdt and was the wife of the late Howard Grayson Chenoweth. She liked to cook, read, shop, and entertain family and friends. She was an avid pet lover and her family and friends were her life. She wanted to be remembered as being helpful, always helping anyone she could by being kind and giving to others. The family would like to thank the staff of Caraway Manor in Elkton for the exceptional care that they provided for Lore during her 6 years living with them.

Mrs. Chenoweth is survived by two daughters, Cindy Blevins and her husband, Leroy, of Colora and Lisa Clewer and her husband, Jon, of Northeast; granddaughters, April Kenney of Colora, Emilie Bowman of Palm Harbor, FL, Johannah Bowman of Elkton and Molly Clewer of Elkton; great-grandchildren, Kaleena Kenney, Hayden Kenney and Camden Kenney.
