Lora ''Daddle'' Ridgely

Lora "Daddle" Ridgely, age 64, of Abingdon, MD, died on August 27, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Paul Loren and Velva Mary Ford Crawford and wife of the late Robert Ridgely. A member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, she would perform by singing at their Strawberry Festivals. She loved music and singing, and during her early days she loved to take care of children. She used to sing specials at Edgewood Assembly of God and loved when the ladies from the church would visit and sing to her at Lorien Riverside nursing home, where she resided for the last 12 years.

Mrs. Ridgely is survived by her son, Timothy Robert Ridgely of Abingdon, MD; brother, Loren Crawford of Jarrettsville, MD; and sister, Ruth Harris of Abingdon, MD. She was loved by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
