Lois Pittman Macanespie

Lois Pittman MacAnespie of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 93 on November 1, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. She was born in Richmond, VA to Joseph C.D. Pittman and Cora N. (Bergman) Pittman, and was the wife of the late Thomas Gordon MacAnespie. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Mountain Christian Church where she was an Elder's wife, Sunday school director and teacher and drama ministry leader. She was also a member of the Doll Walker Circle, the Christian Women's Club and the Harford County Garden Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and teaching others about Christ through drama, painting, arts and crafts. She was an avid bird watcher and loved nature.

Mrs. MacAnespie is survived by her children, daughter-in-law, Linda A. Leturgez (P. Joseph) of Forest Hill, Carol M. Tunin (Richard) of Joppa, Gail M. Lutters (Brian) of Delta, PA and Alan T. MacAnespie (Ginny) of Bel Air, sister, Phyllis P. Taylor of Middle River; grandchildren, Robert G. MacAnespie of Parkville, Shannon L. Lutters of Delta, PA, William T. Lutters of Bel Air, Ian T. Tunin of Joppa, Elizabeth M. MacAnespie and Alayna C. MacAnespie both of Bel Air; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Bruce G. MacAnespie; sister, Lucille P. Lee; and brother, Joseph C.D. Pittman Jr.
