Lois Lee Crews Stinchcomb

My wife, Lois Lee Crews Stinchcomb, who was born May 7, 1930, went to meet Jesus April 20, 2010 at 11:08 a.m. Lois was a dedicated housewife who loved taking care of our house and our children and grandchildren. She did work as a service representative for the telephone company when we first married and helped start our family business in 1961, going so far as driving the delivery truck until we could afford a driver while toting a toddler along, and also took care of the office. She could and would do anything that came along and was a great sport about it. Lois graduated from Towson High School in 1946. We met in 1948 and were married in 1950. It would have been our 60th anniversary on August 12, 2010. Lois was active in church, family camping, boating and all of our other ventures in life. She loved fishing, crabbing, and to go shelling along the beach. She enjoyed shopping and loved to be out with family. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, my best friend, my companion, my helper, and my wife.

Mrs. Stinchcomb is survived by her husband, Charles R. "Mick" Stinchcomb of Stewartstown, PA; daughters, Marcy Schuerholz of Baldwin, MD and Patti Stinchcomb Guevara of Pylesville, MD; grandchildren, Jenny Schuerholz of Baltimore, MD, Ryan Ader and Shawn Ader, both of New Freedon, PA, Jaci Schuerholz of Baltimore, MD, Josh Ader of Pylesville, MD, and Meghan Ader of Stewartstown, PA; and great-grandchildren, Deanna Rose Ader of New Freedom, PA, Michael Ryan Ader-Hoos of Christianburg, VA, and Draven Monroe Ader of New Freedom, PA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Chuck Stinchcomb Jr., and four siblings, Bill, Bob, Ann, and Ruth.
