Lois Marie Fritts, age 97, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away on December 14, 2024, at Brightview Assisted Living of Bel Air in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Merle (Morris) Anderson and the beloved wife of the late Charles Fritts.
Lois lived a rich and fulfilling life. She was a member of a camping club and enjoyed traveling across the United States. An exceptional cook, she also loved taking cruises and cherished sharing laughter through her famous jokes. A traditional and devoted woman, she was proud to be a member of the Pioneer Club and was known for her warmth and humor. She retired from AT&T where she worked as an office clerk for many years.
Lois is survived by her stepdaughters, Sandra (Edgar Jr.) Hopkins and Denise (Glen) Clarius; stepsons, Donald Fritts, Larry (Diana) Fritts, and William (Laura) Fritts; daughter-in-law, Rita Dreyer; grandchildren, Julie Nester, Jeffrey Smith, Timothy Smith, John Bradley Dreyer, Renee Schreiber, Luke Fritts, Lauren Fritts, Matthew Fritts, Jonathan Fritts, Lisa Libdan, Timothy Fritts, David Fritts, Steven Fritts, Carol Gallagher, and Sarah Calender; and 33 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her previous husbands, Elmer Dreyer, and John Kreiner; her daughter, Donna Smith; her sons, Robert Dreyer, and John Bruce Dreyer; and her grandson, William Michael Hogan.
