Lois Brown Bonner, age 80, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on June 1, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She was born in Middle Fork, Kentucky, the cherished daughter of the late Cecil and Opha (Hall) Brown.
Lois dedicated herself to shaping young minds as a Special Reading teacher, serving Baltimore County public schools for 30 years. Her commitment to education left an indelible mark on countless lives, inspiring her students to reach their full potential.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Lois found joy in exploration and relaxation. She shared many adventures with her lifelong companion, Raymond Vannier, particularly relishing their trips to Mexico and Florida. Whether strolling along sandy shores or adorning her home with creative flair, Lois found solace and contentment in simple pleasures and cherished moments with Ray.
An epitome of love and care, Lois was the cornerstone of her family. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support provided comfort and strength to those she held dear.
Lois leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her beloved lifelong companion, Raymond Vannier; her dear sister, Joyce Traunsteiner; her niece, Darcy Thompson; and great nephews, Timothy, and Caleb Thompson.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Joan Bowman
