Lois A. Stewart (Nee Rigney)

Lois A. Stewart (nee Rigney), age 76, of Fallston, MD passed away on November 15, 2012 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Edgar Newton and Beulah Parlett Shannon Rigney and wife of 57 years to the late Alfred J. Stewart Jr. She worked for St. Joseph Medical Center as a nurse's aide and volunteered for 15 years for the American Red Cross. A member of Harford Region Antique Car Club, she also loved many forms of sewing, crafts and quilting. She enjoyed photography, gardening and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughters, Linda Rush and husband, Coy of Ft. Smith, AR and Susan Deickman and husband, Larry of Aurora, CO; brother, Paul Rigney and wife, Glenys of Jarrettsville, MD and sister-in-law Virginia Rigney of Pasadena, MD; grandchildren, Jeff Deickman and wife, Haana of MD, Greg Deickman and wife, Lisa of CO, Charity Kohl and husband, Jake of TX, Camealia Tukker and husband, Bram of FL, Dr. Cimone Heisel and husband, Matt of AR, Celaina Huckeba and husband, Andrew of TX and Cedrah Rush of AR; great grandchildren, Christopher, Leya, Jordan, Julian, Evan, Connor, Dylan, Grayson, Harrison, Eva, Cooper and Audrey; one great great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Edgar Rigney and Irvin Rigney and his wife, Marie, sisters, B. Jean Cook and husband, Lawrence and Vera Stanley and husband, Norman; and granddaughter, Carrie Deickman.
