Lisa Cullum-Ritzmann, age 55, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away on December 19, 2023, at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Jones) Cullum and the beloved wife of the late Jeffrey Ritzmann.
Lisa was a woman of boundless creativity and craftiness. She found joy in repurposing furniture, creating costumes, and designing websites. Her artistic spirit was reflected in everything she touched. Lisa had a special affinity for 80's pop music - mirroring her late husband’s love for 80s rock and heavy metal - and shared her love for it with friends and family.
She cherished her family deeply, including her son, Dakota Ritzmann, and her three dogs: Indy, June-Bug, and Barkley. Lisa's warm and loving presence extended to her sisters, Coreen Yox, Denise Colgan, and Kim Gwiazdowski, whom she guided with flair in fashion and makeup. Lisa was not just a sister but a friend, a confidante, and a source of inspiration.
Lisa found solace in her spirituality and treasured her "Sisters Weekends," a time dedicated to bonding, laughter, and shared memories. Always thinking of others, Lisa was a proud organ donor, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and generosity.
Lisa is survived by her son, Dakota Ritzmann; sisters, Coreen Yox, Denise Colgan, and Kim Gwiazdowski; and father-in-law, Joseph Ritzmann.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jennifer Ritzmann.
To honor Lisa's memory, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
