Lisa Brown

March 5, 1959 — October 18, 2011

Lisa Suzanne Brown, DC, RN age 52 of Bel Air, Maryland died October 18, 2011 at the Bob Hooper Hospice House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore Maryland, Lisa was the daughter of John Eugene Brown and Edith Ann Brown. A graduate of New York Chiropractic College (Doctor of Chiropractic, 1996), the University of Maryland Baltimore County (Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1992) and Harford Community College (Associate Degree in Nursing, 1984), Dr. Brown maintained her professional practice as Natural Life Chiropractic in Bel Air for 12 years. She found promoting health and healing in others deeply rewarding.

Dr. Brown was a member of several community organizations including the Rotary Club International, the Chesapeake Professional Women's Network and was a board member for the MA & PA trail project.

Lisa was a music lover who especially loved Rock & Roll music and the Blues. She sang with the Harford Community College Jazz Ensemble and later with the Sweet Adeline's chorus. She also enjoyed playing the flute with friends and family. Her travels included many of the United States as well as South America and Europe. She loved spending time outdoors with family and friends and was an avid hiker and bicyclist.

Dr. Brown is survived by her mother, Edith Brown of Forest Hill, MD, her father John Eugene Brown of Baltimore, MD, her sister Beth Brown-Reinsel of Brattleboro Vermont, her sister Christine St.Ours, of Street, MD, her brother John Jefferson Brown of Bonn, Germany, and also 3 nieces and 3 nephews; Orion Jorn Reinsel of Brooklyn, NY, Joel Elias Brown, of Ocean City, MD, Terran Jerod Reinsel and Carina Chelsea Reinsel , of Brattleboro, VT, Luisa Sophie Welter and Johanna Lynn Brown of Bonn, Germany.

The interment will take place following the memorial reception and will be attended by family only.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bob Hooper Hospice House (2007 Klein Plaza Drive, Forest Hill, MD 21050) or to the Christ Our King Presbyterian Church.
