Lisa Ann Mele

Lisa Ann Mele, age 48, of Abingdon, MD passed away on March 2, 2018 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of George Frank Urbancik Jr. of Bel Air and the late Nancy (Cincotta) Urbancik. She was a 1987 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School and a 1991 graduate of Villa Julie College. She was currently employed as an ESL Specialist and Professor at Harford Community College. She enjoyed reading missions books, listening to praise music, studying her Bible, and spreading the word of Christ to as many people as she could. She was a member of Maple View Baptist Church where she was very active in the church administration, women’s mission and evangelism. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17

Mrs. Mele is survived by her husband of 24 years, Pastor Craig M. Mele of Maple View Baptist Church; son, Daniel James Mele of Abingdon; parents-in-law, Dominick & Shirley Mele of Fallston; and sister-in-law, Donna Withrow and brother-in-law Jon Withrow of Joppa.
