Lionel Lafayette Wagoner, Jr.

LIONEL LAFAYETTE WAGONER, JR., age 63, of Edgewood, Maryland died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, Maryland on June 21, 2003. Born in Springfield, West Virginia, he was the son of Lillian Mae Heavner Wagoner of Virginia and the late Lionel Lafayette Wagoner, Sr. He worked as a truck driver. In his younger years he enjoyed restoring older cars, professionally racing dirt track stock cars, snowmobiles, and drag racing motorcycles. More recently he loved traveling to different states while trucking and going to antique car shows. He was a very devoted father and loved his family.

Mr. Wagoner is survived by his wife, Eleanor Margaret Ports Wagoner; two sons, Eric S. Wagoner and his fiancée, Lauren Pawlikowski of Abingdon; Gregory Corbin of Edgewood; three brothers, Jasper Woodrow Wagoner; Robert Keith Wagoner; Timothy P. Wagoner; five sisters, Alice Nelson; Shirley Conard; Eva Satterfield; Peggy Bergdoll; and Hazel Buckley, all of West Virginia.
