Linda Kregar Kassay

Linda Carol Kregar-Kassay, 66, of Edgewood, MD went to meet and dance with her maker on March 4, 2015. She passed away with her family by her side at Forest Hill Rehabilitation Center where she was a resident for 22 years. She was born in Havre de Grace on August 1, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys Gerlock Kregar and wife of the late Thomas Robert Kassay. She was a RN at Perry Point Veterans Hospital in Perryville for 25 years before she became disabled in 1993. Linda was very devoted to her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Edgewood Assembly of God, the choir director, Missionette Coordinator, Sunday school teacher and a mentor to many of the members. She was loved and will be remembered by many.

Linda is survived by her brother Roger Dale Kregar and wife Lorene Stanley Kregar of Jarrettsville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Lee Kregar.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Kregar, Stewart Kregar, Joe Kregar, Sean Atkinson, Hayes Shunk and Tony Shunk. Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Stanley and Vaughn Stamper.
