Linda Kay Metz, age 66, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on October 22, 2020 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Mary Ann (Preston) and the late George G. Pyle. She was a graduate of Overlea High School and worked as an office manager. She loved her granddaughters dearly and attended everything she possibly could for them, whether that meant special school events or sporting events like soccer and softball. She loved to bake with them and making apple pie was a favorite of hers. She had a heart for animals and adopted Bo, her fluffy cat, and always showed love to the family dogs Blake and Camden. She always enjoyed herself at the beach, going crabbing, and camping with her family. She was loved and will be missed by so many.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Hinkleman and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Brianna Paige Hinkleman and Kylie Mae Hinkleman; and sister, Patricia Hastings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles A. Hollick.
