Linda G. Murphy

Linda G. Murphy, age 61, of Joppatowne, MD passed away on Thursday March 20, 2014 at her home. Born in Lynchburg, VA, she is the daughter of the late Neal Shannon and Doris Agee Moses. A homemaker, she was a Girl Scout Leader for 14 years, liked traveling, camping and day trips. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and donated her quilts to the children of the Linus Project for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her animals, Zoey, Lacey and Silkey. Linda will always be remembered as a loving wife and generous person who enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.

Mrs. Murphy is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Lee Murphy; brother, Jimmy Shannon and wife, Jayne; step siblings, Barbara Hall and husband, Jim, Gary Moses and wife, Mary, Christina Heisey and husband, Cory; step mother, Lee Moses; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Bryan Shannon, Eric, Erin and Kylie Moses and Allison, Rachel and Matthew Heisey; and relatives, Courtney, Michelle, the Archer Family as well as relatives in surrounding states. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Earl Shannon.
