LILLIAN D. CHAMP, age 75, of Edgewood, MD, died on February 20, 2006 at the Gilchrist Center at GBMC in Towson, MD. Born in Carlos, MD, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Catherine Morgan Adams and the wife of the late Lonzie Cleveland Champ. She was a wire wrap technician who worked at Bendix Radio in Towson. She also worked at Westinghouse in Hunt Valley and at the Sleep Inn as a greeter before retiring in 1991. An Edgewood resident for over 40 years, she was a member of the Edgewood Assembly of God where she loved to sing in the choir. She enjoyed crafts.
Mrs. Champ is survived by four sons, James W. Champ and Gerald W. Champ, both of Edgewood, MD, Ronald A. Champ of Aberdeen, MD and Bruce E. Champ of Edgewood, MD; two daughters, Sadie C. Saylor and Mary Alice Hagy, both of Edgewood, MD; one brother, Bill Adams of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Catherine Bugosh of Dundalk, MD, Mary Hoben of Frostburg, MD, Alice Wright of Strausburg, VA and Joanne Hovatter of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
Pallbearers will be Ashley Clayton Champ, Gerald Whitney Champ, Robert Allen Champ, Kyle Paschal, James Champ, Josh Hagy, William Wright, and Robert Jones.
