Lillian B. Wood

Lillian B. Wood, age 92, of Forest Hill, MD, died on March 31, 2009 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Trappe, MD, she was the daughter of the late Rene Bunce and Mattie Elizabeth Daughton Lackey and wife of the late Richard Orville Wood. A life long resident of Harford County, she had worked as a seamstress for several sewing factories throughout the county. She was a member of Dublin United Methodist Church and Rebecca Lodge #95 in Churchville, MD. She enjoyed sewing and making clothing for Indian children and unwed mothers.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her son, George Arnold Montgomery and wife, Shirley, of Old Fort, NC; her daughter, Beverly Wehry of Forest Hill, MD; grandchildren, Steven Wehry of Mooresville, NC, Teresa Burns and husband, John, of Conway, SC, Jeffrey Montgomery of Old Fort, NC and Jackie Wooddell and husband, Jeffrey, of Mechanicsville, MD; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
