Levin E. ''Woody'' Gallion

Levin E. "Woody" Gallion, age 75, of Abingdon, MD, died on October 20, 2008 at his home. Born in Abindgon, MD, he was the son of the late Levin Oler and Edna Georgia Moulsdale Gallion. A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, he was a lifelong resident of Harford County. He worked for Diamond Alkali for 15 years. He retired from Verizon after 25 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. He also enjoyed boating, golfing and belonged to the Over the Hill Duffers Golf Club at Pleasant Valley Golf Course. He always enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events. Woody was a handyman around his home and was the first volunteer to help with his children's home projects.

Woody is survived by his wife of 54 years, Juanita Bolt Gallion of Abingdon, MD; three sons, Terry D. Gallion of Burtonsville, MD, Michael J. Gallion and wife, Cheryl, of Forest Hill, MD, and Thomas D. Gallion and wife, Denise, of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Penny A. McReynolds and husband, Kevin, of Abingdon, MD; sister, Doris Cianelli of Abingdon, MD; six grandchildren, Sarah K. Gallion of Bel Air, MD, Nicole M. Gallion and Michael M. Gallion of Forest Hill, MD, Megan D. McReynolds, Trevor T. Gallion, and Brendan K. McReynolds, all of Abingdon, MD; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amy E. Gallion.

Pallbearers were Michael M. Gallion, Trevor Gallion, Brendan McReynolds, Kevin McReynolds, Phil Cianelli Jr., Joey Cianelli, and Glen Bellmyer.
