Lester William Coble Sr.

Lester William Coble Sr., age 82, of Abingdon, MD, died on April 18, 2011 at Gilchrist Center at GMBC in Towson, MD. Born in Harris Township, PA, he was the son of the late Calvin Rudy and Esther Alverna Ishler Coble. He had worked as a sheet metal mechanic for Glenn L. Martin and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed target shooting, reading and traveling.

Mr. Coble is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel J. Ripke Coble of Abingdon, MD; sons, Lester William Coble Jr. of Easton, MD, Calvin Foster Coble of Gapland, MD and David W. Coble of Street, MD; daughters, Wanda K. Pennington of Bel Air, MD and Valeria Jean Eckenrode of York, PA; sisters, Betty, Barb and Rose; two grandchildren, Julie and Chris and one great grandchild, Madelyn.
