Lester Albert Butler

Lester Albert Butler, age 73, of Edgewood, MD passed away on January 22, 2016 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Batavia, NY, he was the son of the late Albert Lester Butler and Marion Ethel (Peterson) Butler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground's Dispatchers Office-Motor Pool and also from H&R Block. A member of Edgewood Assembly of God, he assisted in their Bus Ministry and the Royal Rangers. He had earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was an avid sports fan who loved the Yankees, Buffalo Bills and the IronBirds. He raised fish, and loved planting and watching birds.

Mr. Butler is survived by his brothers, Frank Louis Butler and wife, Elaine, of Darlington and Gary L. Butler of Florida; niece, Joy Butler Thompson and husband, Richard, of Edgewood; and nephew, Gregory Butler of Havre de Grace.
